Katniss doesn't really like Effie. She doesn't hate her but she also doesn't like her. She thinks that Effie is a typical Capitol person and she doesn't like the Capitol people. She doesn't like the fact that Effie is all cheerful and happy about the hunger games becuase her family and Peeta's are all devastated becuase they have a 11/12 chance to lose there child during the games.
Katniss's feeling toward Cinna are much more different. Katniss actualy likes Cinna and doesn't think he is like the Capitol people. Katniss beleives that Cinna is one of her friends! Katniss likes Cinna because Cinna gives Katniss good advice and is always positive about Katniss and helps her out the most, with confidence, apperence and feed back. For example before Katniss leaves for the games, Cinna honestly says that if he was allowed to vote that she would pick Katniss because he honestly beleives that she will wim.
Katniss really dislikes Effie. Katniss has an honest hate for Effie for how much missery she is putting on her. Her thoughts on Effie are that she is a typical Capitol leader and Katniss strongly dislikes Capitol people. She finds it rude that Effi is all happy about the Hunger Games, when really its a fight to the death game, were 23 people loose their life.
Katniss likes Cinna much more compared to Effie. She thinks that Cinna is much different than most Capitol people because Cinna is considered one of her friends, she has confidence in Katniss, and she has a positive work effect and always find ways to help Katniss. Cinna honestly even confessed that shed pick Katniss over everyone to win the Hunger Games.
Effie is a typical Capitol person. She has pig puffy hair, wears to much make up and she thinks that the hunger games is the best thing ever. Katniss has grown up in District 12 and even worse in the seam. She has had to fight her whole life to get food and to keep her family safe and Effie came in and took her away. Seeing Effie happy about the hunger games makes Katniss even mader because Effie sees the games as a source of entertainment and Katniss sees it as a blood bath.
Katniss sees Cinna as her only friend in the Capitol. When Katniss is getting ready Cinna says that she will niot be altered in anyway. Cinna wants to let Katniss make an impression on the Capitol. When Katniss begins to lose her focus during the interview she finds Cinna and it helps her regain herself. Then Cinna was the last person to see her to the tube where she was thrown into the games giving her encouragment by saying,"If i could bet it would be on you."
Katniss dislikes Effie because not only is she the perfect capitol citizen in most ways but she is also thrilled about the Hunger Games and Katniss doesnt like that she doesnt even see that 23 people will be killed which is really troubling to Katniss.
