I think that the changing of the rules with 6 people left in the hunger games to allow two winners from the same district adds more twist to the book. Before this hunger games there always used to be 1 winner but now they have allowed two people to be victorious as long as they are from the same District. This adds a new twist becuase you thought that there would be 1 winner and therefore i thought there might be a chance that Katniss and Peeta might have to kill each other. Since the rule was added Katniss and Peeta's plan from before the games comes into action and they can still be "lovers". This is a good thing becuase everyone already knows that they are "inlove" and they have also become close. Since they can now both win they can team up and work together and not kill each other. This will put some ease into Katniss becuase she has gotten close with Peeta and now both of them can win and make there families proud.
This rule has completely changed the face of the games. Katniss worried that she would have to kill Peeta herself but now she can actually work with him. I know that Haymitch had somthing to do with this because he wanted to make Peeta and Katniss look more like "lovers", proving this by Katniss and Peeta kissing Haymitch sent a dinner for them. It also allowed them to eventually win the games because Katniss risked her life to get Peeta's medicene to heal his wound, which without he would have died by blood posining.
I completly agree with both Rylan and Kousha's awnser. They litterly took the words out of my mouth! It added a huge twist and impacted the finals as now Peeta and Katniss would have a chance to both win as the "couple in love". This also allows to let the fans have a chance at the "lovers" winning and being reunited togeather after there victory.
Just like Rob i agree as well but not only did it add a twist and help Katniss and Peeta's love problems that would have happened had they had to kill each other but now people who thought they were now all alone and without hope this could help people get a second wind and try and work with someone in their district to win adding a whole other aspect to the games with more then one winner now.
